You waited 9 months for your precious baby. That’s a long time! All your friends and family tell you to soak up every minute because time goes so fast.
Let’s be honest your baby will not stay this little very long. While you hospital stay may feel long, it is a very short time. It’s hard to imagine your new little bundle of joy any bigger than this moment, but speaking from experience, it goes by in a blink of an eye. Next thing you know they will be starting school!
While time will not slow down, you can always be brought back to this special time in your life through photographs. Before you know it, you baby will change so much in as little as the first two weeks. You’ll want to capture everything!
When I was expecting my first daughter I searched high and low on Pinterest for newborn pictures,. My biggest must have was baby in bassinet during our hospital stay. I just loved the ones all swaddled up in the tiny little crib. It screamed little, newness, and joy. A picture my parents took of me. I knew I had to capture it.
There are so many different ways you can take the picture from. Below I gathered a few examples I was able to capture last year.
Make sure you packed your “big” camera in your camera bag. You won’t regret taking it and so happy you did a year and more from now. That littleness will be a distant memory.
Not sure you will have the time or energy to take your most wanted pictures in the hospital? I would love to come within the first 24 hours after baby is born and capture your hospital pictures for you. Scheduling a Fresh 48 session is a great stress free way to remember this special time. You can contact me here for more information.
