What to expect?

You know you want a photography session, but not sure what to expect. In this post I hope to ease your mind and explain what will happen from the moment you contact me to the delivery of your products. My goal is to make the process as simple as possible for you, because I know how busy your life can be.

By now I assume you have been on my site and are interested in learning more about me and possibly see if we are a right fit for each other. I get it, photography is an investment and you want to make sure you can find a photographer you can trust.

The first step with me is to contact me. Once you schedule a consultation, we will chat over the phone. During this consultation, we learn more about each other and have the opportunity to ask questions.

After the initial consultation and you decide to book, we will schedule a date and location. We can have your session either in your home or outdoor location of your choosing. I also have a list of suggestions as well.

Once the date is set, I will help prepare you for your session. We can have an additional phone call or discuss via email. I will send you information on how to prepare your home for indoor sessions and wardrobe recommendations. If you have a few selections, I can help you narrow down your choices that would complement your goals for the session.

During your session I want you to relax and have fun. That is what is so wonderful about lifestyle sessions. It allows you to interact in with your family like you always do. Don’t worry, if you are stuck I will give light directions on what to do to get the natural and organic moments. I want you to have pictures tell the story of your family’s love for each other.

Now that the sessions is complete, I will carefully select and edit the best of the best from your session. You can expect to have 25+ images in your gallery to choose from.

When the gallery is complete, I will send you an email with options to schedule your reveal session date to be held within the next 7 days. During the reveal session, we will look through your portraits and pick your favorites. I will then help you select the best option to display your session either through custom wall art examples digitally or create a custom heirloom album. You chose me to give you this exceptional service, you deserve an exceptional product to display your investment.

Once you made your selection, I will then order your products. Delivery is normally within 4-6 weeks. Wall art comes with complementary installation to create the display on your wall for you.
